Deaf students and those hearing students who may want to work with the Deaf and come to Lubbock to study in the residential program at SIBI will be required to take 40 courses and 8 preaching/teaching labs in order to receive their Bachelor's of Biblical studies degree.  Deaf students who are unable to come to Lubbock to study in the residential program at SIBI have the option to take the courses through Zoom. Typically a student will study for 3 years in the Deaf Ministry Program. All courses are taught in ASL, however, occasionally courses are interpreted and taken with the hearing instructors as needed.
